I am havong trouble my XXX-NT, its has the Mach .15 engine. Starts fine throtle up fine but when i hit the gas it stalls and dies ? any tips to prevent this :help:

If it starts and throttles up, then dies when you hit it, it's in the HSN. Don't change the LSN settings. If it quits quickly, the HSN needs to be richened. If it blubbers, then quits, it needs to be leaned.

Thanks Rolex. it dies when i brake ....I think my Throtle/Brake linkage needs to be adjusted.. When I brake the carb closes up and it dies. I am using a JR Racing XR2i and havent mastered the End-Point Adjustment yet much less the Sub-Trim

That's a common problem. You need to adjust your idle screw. If you try to get the correct idle with the trim knob, hitting the brake will close the carb below a point that it will run.

I had this problem too.
Rolex is right with the idle screw, but if you open it up to much, your idle is going to be way too high.

with the engine off, i test this out by going WOT, then release.... brake then release.
notice the difference if any in the "gap" with (under the air filter).
use that to test until you get it to be the same at idle and brake.
your center carb opening and full brake carb opening should be the same.
I had to make sure that when at center, the servo was pushing the throttle back all the way like it does when you brake. once i got that straight, I fixed the idle.

XXX-NT DEE, go to your LHS and pick up a Throttle return spring and bracket for a RC10GT. Mount the bracket on the motor mounting screw farthest from the carb. Loosen all of your linkages at the servo and adjust your idle screw. When you have the idle set, zero the servo, then you can work on readjusting your throttle linkage. Adjust the spring tension between the servo and carb link first. Then adjust the pull side. Then you can set your brake linkage. leave the extra throttle return sping on and you have a backup incase the linkage or servo arm breaks and give more tension to pull the throttle closed if you lose battery.
