Did a search and found some early info on the Trinity Spyder prior to its release.

A couple of months later I see nothing on it. No one here has written anything about it.

So, did anyone buy this?

I dont think anyone on here got one. Looks like a decent truck. You might want to get one because no one else has it.

glorified savage. people want truggies now if their racing. if they dont, their buyin revos (can race too) maxx's, savages, or LSTs.

I seen one in one of my Rc mags looks cool Never seen one other than that. It would be nice but might not be able to add uprades yet since its so new. To me thats the best part about Rc is building them up and making them better and knowing that you built it :)

You dont see them because there are a savage clone and parts are a you know what to get, all LHS arond here aren't selling them for that reason!

my local hobby shop sold one and it is junk. junk with no support from trinity. the motor was defective so they sent the the truck back to trinity and that was christmas. a month later they sent the same truck untouched back to the hobby shop. once again they sent the truck back to trinity and a month later no truck. the local hobby shop called and called about the truck and were given phiny tracking numbers after they got nasty with trinity. after a week one of the tracking numbers was real and they received a mini spyder that was broken. i dont know if this was intentional but the guys at the hobby shop think so. a few week after that they finaly got the truck back with a new piston and sleeve after they were promised a whole new truck. now they are having problems with the diffs. would not reccomend one.

I have a savage, and even though the syder looks pretty kool, stick with the original formula. The spyder is a wannabe savage
Looks almost like a good rock crawler though, because i hurd it has some really good torque, but then again the speed is unreal, 50 mph. Seems like a pretty good truck if ur not racing on a track.

Well, I got the Spyder. How I got it was i bid on it on ebay. I bid at a low price. But not rock-bottom. Anyways, I was outbid, but that person withdrew their bid. So, I won.

I'm pretty sure I'll use it as a basher. My first look at it, is that its very sturdy looking. Very thick TVPs and things look put together very well. If there is one think I don't like off the bat, its the shocks. Very hard to tune correctly.

This MT is definitely NOT worth the asking price. Its about a 350 truck. I'll agree with those of you that stated, go with the Savage. I had a Savage and thought it was one of the best all-around trucks....

Well, be sure to give us an update on your new monster, all of us wood like to hear bout it. Congrats on ur new mt!

Parts are not readily available unless you find a dealer that was/is willing to inventory the parts. I can get them - they will be special order items - I will not inventory them so you could look at 10 + days to get parts

i think its pritty pimp. my sisters boyfreind is gonna try to get one. we went to hobbytown today and it looked cool. if he gets it. which i am pritty sure he is i will tell you how it is.

One thing I found out about the Spider is that you don't have a choice in wheel/hub combo's. You have to use the rims that trinity specifies for them. Unlike the savage and t-maxx, you can't just buy any aftermarket wheel. There's not even an adapter for it.

I thought they looked pretty awesome and was DAMN CLOSE to getting one when I got my savage. I would have gotten it to but didnt hear anything about them in here, and I like knowing that if I need help, I can always get it here.. But Id definatly like to run one, they look hella sweet and also look very well built. Also Trinity is also a very repitubale brand, so i think youll have good luck with it.. I also think the duratrax (can't think of the name, Warhammer? or something like that) looks like a good truck too, but because of the Duratrash reputation, I wouldnt get one. But I really like the adj. suspension.
