Uh?? That's not a Novarossi! It's an RB Concepts engine. DUe to come out within a few weeks. Should be an awesome engine. From what I've been told, it is geared more for MT's as opposed to racing (buggies, etc.). So, when it does come out, you can expect to see it my way soon. Can't wait!
Read carefully. He did not say it was a Novarossi. He said it is a Novarossi-based RB .28 engine. He's saying it is based on a Novarossi design or something along those lines.
Tuning on the sirio, hmmm... You have to tune most engines out there, some may even require a pact with the Devil. The sirio tuning was not really tuning. The engine wants to run and will do everything possible to help you along the way to acheive this.
yeah, i saw that on trinity, what are the temps like on it? Also , I'm very interested in a O.S motor, I dont want to start a new thread so, can some ppl tell me whats a good model. Thanks.
Tuned at an elevation of 1500 feet the temps were about 250. Down at sea level it was a whole heap too lean. It was running like a raped ape. When I temp'd her after about 5 minutes of run time she was at 350. I killed her and let her cool then richened her up a half a turn and went from there.
I won't generally tune to temp but I do use the temp to know when I am too lean.
