Well, i finally got this nitro running the other day had some fun, me and a buddy tuned it pretty good. Put it away for a couple days and came back to run it and it will not start at all. Decided to put back to default settings. HSN 3 turns from seated LSN 1 turn from seated. Now when i pull it all it does is backfire and a little white flame comes out the pipe?? any ideas what i should do?? I have tried everything. Glow plug good, igniter full charged, new fuel, checked and reset idle screw. Thinking of just selling it and going electric though i do not want to!!!

I am not the best at tuning and have had some problems with mine also, but my suggestions as others have suggested to me would be make sure you prime the engine and maybe richen your needles a bit to atleast get it started. How is your compression (can you spin the fly wheel easily or is there some resistance when you get to Top Dead Center?

ok to hamz i dont really know what rig it is but everyone keeps telling me its a redcat chassis. The motor is a SH .28.

to srbecker i have not tried this yet i will today and post results

OK so i turned the flywheel today it moves freely till you get to the top then it kinda pinches at the top and goes back down. i had it running today it idled fine till i took the igniter off the plug. maybe not hot enough plug? not high enough nitro %?

might be too rich cooling off the glow plug.try leaving the igniter on for a few more seconds.if neither works change plug cause its either a cheap brand or the platinum has worn off allowing it to lose its thermal protection.
