I really don't remember about the bearings... I think they used the stock sized bearings.

I'm sure with a dremel, a drill and some plate alluminum... you can make her fit ;)

But you would pretty much need the tower, trans case, spur/slipper, CB, brake bits, arms... well, may be easier to find a roller jato.

Ok I have been off this project for some bit now but I am going to finnish it off. So I want to get them adapters but I don't understand how they are going to work cause the front tires don't use a hex? If olds says they will work I am sure they will but if some one could clear this up for me that would be grate! I found some 1/8 buggys on ebay going to get them tom. I anyone knows or has a link to another set of adapters with a ext let me know! Thankx guys for all your help and for putting up wit my bs,bad spelling and bad grammer all the time! :D

1/8 buggy wheels will have a 17mm hex on all of them. The NE adapters fit that hex on the wheel and either bearings for the axle in the front or slits for the hex pin in the rear. The front/rear adapters are not the same. The fronts have recesses for bearings whereas the rears have a slot for the hex pin.

I'm not calling you out or anything, just trying to set your mind at ease. ;)

Those little washers at the bottom go on the front axles before you put the hub on. It takes up the gap that would otherwise be there. At least I think that's what they are for... I've had mine on a long time and don't remember.

Although... I want to say the stupid front ones required different size bearings than what the jato has.
Yep, noted on their site "Requires: 5 x 10 x 4 Ball Bearings". Jato front wheels use 5x11's. So make sure to pick up a good set of 5x10's. Fast Eddie has em!

I just picked up a new set of skins for her! Now if I just had a running engine.
I bought a set of 4 of these off ebay for $23 shipped: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHWJ1&P=7
I ran them on my buggy a long time ago and liked them for bashing. Adds ground clearance and cushion for landing. Have to wait for the new wheels I just ordered to show up... then figure out why my ol' 2.5 is leaking oil like a sieve...

I'm somewhat like you... but I get things done, then fiddle with them until I sell them or run out of ideas. With the fleet I have now (Aftershock, Savage, Jato, Micro-T), I don't think I'll ever get rid of any of them... maybe add an electric in the mix...
