well i decided i was going to take my new, stampede for a little ride today. i was doing good for a while and got anxious so i out a sheet of wood and a concrete block out which was only about three feet high, first time i did it i landed a back flip perfect. so i went to do it again and CRASH, right on its head. conclusion. hit so hard it bent the cb over on the other side of the spur gear, so i broke an engine mount , a spur gear, clutchbell, brake assemble, flywheel. hopefully i didnt bend the crankshaft. cause as soon has i hit it instantly stopped. oh ya and a ez start cords. i dont really want to buy a new engine cause it would cost more than i paid for it, but i do like the .15 in it at least it get the wheels up, well i guess it :hammer: time.

Geez, how hard could that thing hit? At least most Traxxas replacement parts are relatively inexpensive.

Ouch. But, the funest part is fixing the things anyhow. Hope the parts are at least esy to find. Were they all stock parts or other?

stock for now. and i can agree. about fixxing it but the worst is paying for it. lol
this couldnt of happend at a worse time money wise. but good news
took the engine apart and everything looks fine. also took the tranny apart and everthing is fine.

when you said you were going to try it out I guess you REALLY tried it out
did it bend the rear chassis plate or just break the motor mount and tore stuff up in the process ?

i just broke the engine plate. and i gues when the clutch and flywheel came up all hell broke loose. lol i guess its gonna be on the shelf for a while. ps if anyone can find a stampede engine mount on ebay lmk please. i looked but i diddnt see anything

I couldn't find anything either, but I'll shoot ya a pm with a guys' Ebay ID that literally has everything you could want cheap. Got me a Ofna 063 header/pipe set for $47.74 shipped.

it did takea hard hit on the top.. but i can't figure why the mount snapped in three places. is there any way too make a stronger one rather than spending 10 bucks each time.
