Okay - If anyone has ever lived in Florida, then you know how it works. In the Winter months, we get no rain, zero. In the spring and summer months, it rains almost everyday, but you can set your watch by it. It rains from about 2pm-4pm really hard, then thats it, never at night. Well, for the past three thursdays in a row.....it has poured raining all night....and it is planning on doing it again this evening. Why Thursdays???? Does God know that every Thursday I have a Race? Dammit man. Plus, I am going to Conneticut tomorrow, and wont be able to race this weekend, so this is the last chance to show off. But nooooo, its gonna rain all evening. Grrrrr. This sucks. Sorry, just had to vent.

I feel your pain man.... the only time I get to play is on the weekends. Its has rained here for the last 3 weekends. I thought I would go to the local college here the last few nights (nice BIG parking lot) just to get my nitro fix but noooooo. It stops raining around 10 AM..ground dries up nice...then about 7pm just as I'm getting out of work...down pour...grrrrr. I hate when mother nature is on the rag.

Thats pretty funny dude. Sometimes it seems she is purposely trying to spoil the fun, eh?

That sucks it's raining right now. When do you guys have time to run? Gotta love the Cali weather.

don't be such a female pee pee nitroaddict....you can always come live in Seattle.:constipat

LMAo - damn, dave - if i lived in seattle, i would have to get a swam buggy, lol.

The funny thing is...Seattle is 41st in the country in annual rain fall. Houston gets more rain than Seattle. We just like to perpetuate that myth, so everyone doesn't come live here.

LMAO - I'm moving there just to spite u! lol. Wait a minute, it gets below 50degrees there, doesn't it? nevermind, lol. I hate cold.

Dave, It looks like its time for an indoor nitro track?
What a concept...I was wondering how much rain do you get? Just yesterday we got 4/5+inches of rain BUT it was sunny the whole day, and at 4:00, it started pouring. How do you like that?

I'm not sure what the exact number in inches is, but I do know that there are 40 cities in this country that get more rain annually then we do. Our winters tend to be pretty wet(drizzles alot) and grey, but summers are really pretty nice. I have yet to find a city that is prettier than Seattle when it is nice out.

ah quit yer bitchin...in washington state, it rains all day everyday...practically (we're on a "heat wave" right now 74 degrees woohoo) but I bet when it rains in Florida, it evaporates pretty fast, here, unless the sun's out, it will take all day! but if the sun is out then it might take a few hours depending on the temperature. We could have the sun out and it'll still be 50 degrees

be happy you live where you do!

It's 74 right now, but it is only 10:30. It is supposed to get up to 85 today and almost 90 tomorrow. It doesn't rain all day everyday, just in the winter months. It does make you appreciate the sunny days when they come.

as a side note, it almost never rains in Washington State on the east side of the Cascade Mountains.

Oh man I feel your pain Nitroaddict. It has been raining here for the last 2 days. It looks like mother nature is gonna hold the water works today tho. Time to burn some nitro. Well as soon as I get outta work. :)

Yeah but even during the summer months we still get quite a bit of rain. It's not like a downpour or anything but it's enough to keep the streets wet and no r/c time

man were beggin for rain here today is the first day it has rained at my house in about 8 weeks and it rained for 15 min.but we have a storm off the coast that might change this.

As of Last Dec the reservoirs in NJ were at 20%

They are now at 125%. Now THATS rain.!!!

Nitroaddict STFU..... I would kill for rain right now it's 102*F in the sun (94in the shade) and to top it off We had some Gay arse playday thing at school so I was out in it all day........ I would die in Cali. is all I can say (BTW 50* is a treat in winter)

LMAO at maxx - i have no prob with warm weather - would rather sweat than shiver any day. I dont go outside when it gets below 50, thats too cold for people bro.

Are you crazy? 50 is heaven!!!! Well actually I can tolerate 70 with a lite breeze and no humidity. :) But I don't think I can go any higher. My theory is you can always dress warmer. Once you are down to shorts and a t-shirt you can't go any farter without going nude in public. hehe
