I run the Sirio .12 EVO 2 3-Port ABC Threaded Shaft (Model # S12TRPAF). I have her dropped into my NTC3. She is a very nasty engine and pushes my car around at insane speeds. Out of all the things I have done to my car, buying that engine was the best hop-up I did to it. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
As far as which one to get, here is how they break down. You basically have 3 choices for the EVO 2, one 3-port version & two 5-port versions. The 3-port is race legal and the 5-port is in the outlaw class. Here is a list:
---Sirio EVO 2 3-Port: S12TRPAF - (1.52hp / 39K RPM) - Race legal (threaded shaft)
---Sirio EVO 2 5-Port: S12TUPAF - (1.60hp / 40K RPM) - Outlaw class (threaded)
---Sirio EVO 2 5-Port: S12TUP - (1.60hp / 40K RPM) - Outlaw class (SG shaft)
Since you don't plan on entering any races, I would recommend the S12TUP. The main benefit w/ this engine is that it has the SG shaft. This makes it easy to mount your flywheel and stuff to the shaft.
With the threaded shafts, you have to measure, cut the shaft, and install a pilot nut. This can be tricky b/c if you cut too much off the threaded shaft, the pilot nut won't fit properly. Thus, you just ruined your engine and will have to buy a new crankshaft for it.
So for the ease of installment, and it's specs I would go w/ the SG 5-Port version (S12TUP). You definitely won't be disappointed w/ her.
BTW, none of them are pull-start versions, so you will need a starter box. The compression on my engine is so tight that I have to use a heavy duty starter box w/ the 12V high torque engine to start it. The box's that have those 750 or twin 550 engines, just don't give you enough power to crank her up.
