I saw them in the latest Xtreme RC and immediately thought of your LSP.

It sure would suck if it sprung a leak and hosed your motor.

Running a fan system adds about 2 ounces. I wonder how much this system weighs. I didn't see a weight listed on their site. Hopefully XRC will do a full review, it would be good news if it works as advertised and is lightweight.
 
I think thats pretty cool, but is it necessary?

it would probably open up a whole new range of gearing options that would typically overheat the motors.....alloing more top end speed (I think)......someone here said if your ESC heats up you are geared too low (bottom torque) and if your motor's overheats it's geared too high (top end speed).......

That's interesting, I've never heard that before. I only knew that the motor gets hotter the higher you're geared. Cool little tidbit.

This might be something to consider for our Top Speed Challenge car...

Exactly what I was thinking.

In brushless systems it is the opposite, motor too hot is undergeared, esc too hot is overgeared. I also see this system being used to push a motor past it's normal max rpms.
