Heres a look at my Associated TC3 with the old school set up! It's sporting a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am body by Protoform, 31mm HPI vintage 5 spoke wheel and vintage racing ties out back, 26mm vintage racing tires and 5 spokes up front, Futaba MC330CR brushed esc, Futaba S3003 steering servo, Trinity Speed Gems Sapphire 17x1 brushed motor, orange 2.4 rx. It's been a real treat learning about on road rc's and I have come to really like driving this car!

Love the Screamin Chicken lid, the car looks like it would be fun to toss around on the pavement!
What kinda packs are using to power it?

I'm running 2s lipo packs in it, if my memory is right that esc was good for 8 cell packs (9.6v) so 7.4v is not a problem. I do have a visible and audible low voltage alarm that plugs into the balance tap on the battery, but I can tell when it's time to stop just before the alarm goes off.

Maxxin how did you attach your front bumper assembly? I see another guy posted pics of his T/A in the RTM thread. Looks like the same body but he has screws holding his together

In the above pic I used double sided scotch tape. I did have to add a screw on each side at the bottom of the nose piece to keep it lined up after impacts.....and there has been many impacts lol

Here's my version of the SC mounted on a TA06 Pro chassis.

Looking good Steve, what running gear do you have in it?

I went very basic with a Futaba S3003 steering servo, Tamiya heavy duty servo saver, LRP Quantum brushed ESC, Tamiya Johnson silver can motor, Hobbyking GR300 Orange 2.4gHz receiver, 64P 90T spur and 64P 47T pinion. I also have an older Stratus sedan shell that I can use for racing in our sedan class.

It looks great, nice and clean! I'm hoping to find the right BMW body to make a smaller version of my wifes car, then I can stop beating up the TA body
