Yeah, I am not saying I dont believe, I just dont understand it all. It is interesting to hear people talk about it, but I just dont know. I dont knock anyones beliefes and if you like to talk about it I will listen. I had a old supervisor that was penticostal and he called me something in regards to the way I am. It aint atheist, but something else that I think started with an A.

Yes, even if you're not a believer in Christianity it is still a much worthwhile movie to see. Aside from the religion, there is much history in it, and IMO it's amazing to see society worked and how people were punished back then.

When I first saw this forum I vowed to stay out of it and as far as getting in depth with my thought I am going to. I will comment on the movie and not the religion involving the movie or any others for that matter. As a friend once said "Somethigns are just best unsaid." Okay I'll go see it this weekend prolly, I'll let you know what I think.

Personally I think Mel and his Dad have flipped. Not taking anything away from the movie but why should Mel be the one driving the spike through the hand of Jesus? Why did he have to do it??? He also was the double for Jesus when he was being whipped and beaten and fell to his knee's. You guys know that Mel's dad thinks the holocaust never happened.. he admitted this. Mels dad also thinks the people showing criticism to the film are the "helpers of Satan". Its just a little too quacky for me.

I didn't know Mel's dad had anything to do with the movie?

Don't get me wrong I think mel is a little over the top with the whole religion thing...but to each his own. Certainly not my opinion of the subject.
