Son was at a camp today, and they were building these little raft things. He didn’t get a chance to finish his before momma picked him up, so when they got home he was finishing it up, had to solder up the wires to the motor. He said you know what would be cool if it it was rc

Tell him to ask mom if I can take the jacket off…

Oh mom ain’t here get the key…

Grabbed the esc from the ax24 and one of the old servos from the box .

He’s working on getting it mounted up now

You should build one with them popsicle sticks, then you could cruise from lily pad to lily pad without having to hop

I actually want to build a gas rc boat. Some day I'll do it.

This thread actually got some wheels turning…we get a fair amount of standing water in the yard and on our trail in spring time (and this year we still do ) enough that I’m pretty sure we could run an air boat…

What would be a comparable brushed motor to use in place of this? I don’t want to sink a lot into this right now, need something though to fit in the fan housing to at least get started if I can make a hull

There are some really cheap airplane motors on Aliexpress or Banggood that would maybe work.
