I got a two tranny and trying to replace the gears how does the one way nut come off the high speed gear, threaded?

It is a smartech winner pro, yaya it was my first car, gotta start some where. I got the tranny apart and the gears off the shaft but the ony way bearing inside the high speed gear wont come out, it has a nut on the front side where it the low speed locks in but i tried to to loosin it but wont budge

It may be a reverse thread on the nut. If it's a metal gear and shaft, try and heat it up a bit to remove the nut.

That's what i thought cuz the way it spins on the shaft, tried it both way's. Nope stock was plastic gear thus why i need it replaced it has almost no gripping power anymore.

The OWB usually has a cir-clip on the opposite side of the gear the hex is on.

Got a pic???

Old Gear this is the rear side of the gear, or inside behind the piece that catches the pin to engage the gear

Front side with the nut the sits in the low speed gear and this side has a c-clip to hold on the LSG

This is the new gear as you can see it has a lip on the side so it can't be pushed out

Edit: If it is hard to see i can post in the direct photobucket link

The OWB is already removed from 1st gear. It is stuck in the ball bearing in the 2nd gear. You will have to force the owb out of the 2nd gear bearing without damaging it. wd-40 and a little heat should help.

I tried to heat up the bearings and put a socket under them outer parts and hammer it out, it didn't budge and the OWB started to show signs of if mushrooming in so i stopped. I'm afraid i might have to try to cut the gear off and see how it comes apart. Not gonna do that if anyone has better ideas, I can wait i rather do it right then rush into it. I rather not spend the $44 to buy the whole tranny when this car don't get much use.
