Right now I have it 11mm in the front and 6mm in the back?
 
Typically it's up to the driver and the RC it's self... you would want more in rear.. as it's usually heavier then the front. You might need heavier shock oil weight.. and not just preloading the shock spring or need to get stiffer springs...

Yeah, that seems like the rear is sitting really low for that truck.
 
Hi can anyone tell me why I can’t run a single 4s battery in my punisher… seems like I have to run 2 2s /2 3s on the split wires…thanks

You should be able to. You just need a jumper wire or whatever it’s called. You plug it into one of the connectors and then you can use a single pack.

You are probably measuring preload space on the shocks, that's not a way to measure ride height because every car is different and even same car may have different springs.

When it comes to ride height in general for bashing you want your arms to be straight when sitting. Lower ride height will give you more stability on flat surface, for example pavement. I would describe it like "driving on rails". If you want more front traction you can run lower front ride height, and opposite, if you want.more rear traction lower rear ride height than front.

For shock oil I would run what's recommended in manual. That's usually the best for general bashing. Thinner oil will soak the bumps better but may bottom out easier. Also thinner shock oil can give you a little more overall traction, but less initial traction a little delay until body rolls. Heavier oil will give you more initial traction in turns but less overall traction
