Ok, so I got this body I've been working on for a long time now and now that I need to remove the masking tape from the windows it has left behind a considerable amount of sticky stuff. Is there any easy way to get this off without taking off the paint around it?

I know on a car window windex does the trick, also goo gone but I would try that on a scrap piece of lexan because It has eatten through some of the stuff I've used it on.

I use stuff called "Oops!". I think it's the same as goo gone. Just drip some on a Q-tip and slowly rub the adhesive off. Be careful around the paint border. And wipe the plastic periodically with a paper towel. Should come off no problem.

Yup... Da and a qtip.... also WD works well too. Just take some windex on a paper towel and wipe off any WD residue afterwards. Again just be careful around the painted areas.

I think Goo-Gone or Goof Off is the way to go, It hasnt eaten through any of my lexan I've used it on.

I have some goo gone but it's that spray gell stuff. I did dig up some old stuff call de-solv-it though. Seems to be working rather well after I tested it first of course. Thanks fellas!
