I was down at the hobby shop today, and I have never really paid attention before, but they got a bunch of these suckers lined up. A couple of styles too. Verry cool.

Sweet wheels.
I'm not sure how deep O want to go into this.
I'm going to contact them and see if they will work on the trailer as well. If so I may get them if not, I dont want to be mismatched.

They definitely look better than the stock rims, since the locknut is capped over. I'm amazed, with all of the detail, Tamiya didn't include something of the sort.

It's not at all uncommon to have custom rims on a beautiful road tractor, and old rims on the trailer they're hauling for someone else.
The aluminum rims are real beauties, but the chromes on the trailer will look just as good.

Getting closer.
Need to do a lot of detailing and get the electronics squared away.

Wow, again. Post a pic full size.

I recently got Testor's Sure Thing decal maker kit for ink jet printers, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. You might want to look into it for some of your projects.

Looking GREAT Ed! I love all the chrome details on the cab.

Will "The King" be ready on the next race day?

It looks really nice. The only thing those kits are missing, by the looks of it, is a smoke setup for the stacks.

I still have a lot to do on it. I dont think Ill have it ready for the last race but you never know. Once the cab is done I still have the trailer to build. I have so many projects in the works it may take a while to build up the war chest to get the light kit and electric pump jacks. So many other things I have in the works that it may be a while.

I did start to bundle and route all the wires. Unbelievable how many there are going every witch way.

Here is a short video.
I'm not quite done detailing it yet and need to adjust my radio to activate the turn signals earlier. I'm going to start on the trailer next week.

Very nice. Couldn't help but notice you were going in a reverse oval pattern.... Somethin tells me your racing buddies better watch out; playing chicken with a big rig ain't exactly a great idea.

The brakes looked a little stiff tho. Seems like it should slow down a lot slower before coming to a halt.

Most of that was the driver (Dont Know who that was :D)
Using a stick controller is not 2nd nature to me.
