I currently have a T maxx 3.3 that is a great truck, typical upgrades; bulkheads, shocks, arms etc. I just ordered a new HPI Savage X SS 4.6 kit, that should be here by the weekend.
Has anyone done a head to head on these 2 trucks? What are your opinions on the pros and cons, Biased and un-biased. Whats your favorite and why? Should be a fun topic.
Once I get the Savage together Ill give my opinion on who I think is:boxing: THE KING.

Most people I've talked to rather the Savage, they say its more reliable. The T-Maxx is supposed to have reliability issued but I guess its all in how you use it.

I don't know about the 3.3 version but my 2.5 T-Maxx was broke more than it was driving. My Savage has been much better at handling a bood bashing. It has broken some parts, but not nearly as often.
With the upgrades you have though, it should be a close match.

SavagE

Dont know about the t-maxx but i got 2 savage and havent broken alot since i got them, very durable and can take ALOT of beating. Just my :2cents:

My Maxx was always broken it seemed....don't get me wrong it was a fun truck but the Savage is tougher. I would get some bumper brackets for a Savage .21/.25 though. I never liked the X and XSS style. I have both kinds......just not a great design on that one part.

I hear what you guys are saying, I've broke something just about every time I've had the Maxx out. I dont baby it though, Big jumps with less than perfect landings and high speed cartwheels would test the durability of any truck, but I've seen vidios of the savage crashing hard and driving away without a problem.
