Anyone Ever Try to turn a t-maxx into a truggy?
Well I am gonna try. If you have turned yours into somewhat of a truggy what parts did u use

I think there was a truggy conversion kit for the Maxx at one time...I think it was called a JT conversion but I'm not sure.

I think hardcore racing made one as well.

Personally, with all good trucks available at this time, I wouldn't waste my money and time on a maxx based truck. It was good for it's time, but that time was long ago. The 3.3 maxx is about as good as it will get for the maxx. Better diffs, axles, trans, engine, shocks, axle carriers... pretty much all the stuff that annoyed us maxx guys when the maxx came out has been replaced with better stuff.

I do like my 3.3 Maxx, just the upgraded drive line and thicker chassis made it twice as good as the old Maxx.

I keep thinking about geting a maxx for bashing but after seeing my buddies break off the same jump my revo went of just changed my mind. The rear bulk head just snapped. As for makeing one into a truggy, your better off spending the money you will spend on converting into a new rig.

I did.....search mutant maxx and posts by me....it's not cheap and all these guys telling you not to do it aren't blowing smoke......I do like mine and it has advantages over the newer truggies but I had to custom make chassis parts and a center spur gear to make an existing Hardcore kit actually be durable....
