t maxx problems

today i finished breaking in my t maxx 3.3 when i got finished with the 5th tank i took off the factory exhaust pipe and replaced it with a outlaw race pipe,the problem now is it is hard to start and when it does start it trys to quit when you give it throttle, i adjusted the hsn which is was what recommended but it did not help, when you do get it to go it does not have any power at all it wouldnt even pull up a small hill. any help what be appreciated

Need more info... Does it blow a lot of smoke, or none at all... What are the temps?

If so, throw it away. It's a POS and doesn't work worth a crap!

I received one with a truck I bought off a member. I tried it once. It's loud and totally useless. You actually lose a ton of power and it makes the engine run hot and like crap regardless of tune.

Is there a good aftermarket exhaust system for this truck other than the duel exhaust I've seen? i want to keep it a single exhaust but with more power? thanks

When my t-maxx was stock (wow, that was a long time ago...) I used the THS Racing pipe for a little bit with the 2.5, and it was awesome. Since the 3.3 uses the same exhaust, I'm pretty sure it will work.

I have found two different exhaust for the tmaxx 3.3, the ths exhaust and the dynamite hard annodized one, which one would be best, i want something louder than stock with more power.
