My Tmaxx 2.5 will run for about 5-8 minutes good but then when I come to stop to idle it shuts off and won't crank for another 10 minutes. Does anyone have any ideas of why this could be happening?

Have you checked your temps? It sounds like it could be overheating.

Are you running to lean should have a little blue smoke coming out of your pipe otherwise you could have a bad bearing in the engine.just a couple things to check.:D

Seal it. As long as you have sufficient air flow to the cooling head, plenty of smoke and it still overheats, it's probably sucking air. Read the tuning tips and tricks at the top of the nitro forum. It explains sealing. Make sure the tank cap, header and coupler are sealed as well. Check where the head bolts to the cylinder too. If it's leaking there, most times flipping the shim over and re-tightening evenly solves it.

its running good when its running its got blue smoke ill try sealing it and see what happens thanks

Also check the fuel tank gasket. They also cause this condition as well.
