So its time to get something new. I didn't like having the 2.5 t-maxx because it was an old model. So my price range is right around 400-500 dollars. Should i get a T-Maxx 3.3 or the HPI Savage?

Thanks

-Mark

Ooo, the mother of all questions. One cannot answer this objectively...it depends which you prefer yourself. I am a fan of the Savage, would take a Savage over two T-Maxxes, but that's just me ;)

I say get a Warhead! LMAO That's a tough call really. Both are solid trucks from what I read/hear....but when Scrogg said Tower had the RTX-27 Brandy new for $199.....that's kinda hard to beat as well. I think it's going to come down to preference for ya.

I'm a Savage guy. I had an original Maxx and the Savage is much more durable. I don't know how the 3.3 measures up, but I do know the Savage is a massive and durable truck.

Between the two, Savage. I love my T-Maxx, but if I could do it over I would have went Savage all the way.

Thanks guys so what savage i hear there is more then one

Between the two, savage no doubt. No if you want something that makes a Savage look bad get a Aftershock. Around 350 dollars and you get better servos, better radio system, better truck, better handling, good setup, lots of power and all at a reasonable price.

Losi Aftershock. $334.00 On Amain (hit buy now)

I have a Maxx, and love it, but admittedly have never tried the Savage OR any other car, for that matter.

The savage XL. save up but its worth it. my lhs has a Savage XL and a Tmaxx 3.3 on a wall next to each other. the savage just makes the tmaxx look tiny

Is there two kinds of XLs?

That is a complete steal for what I (and obviously LosiLST!) consider the best Monster platform out there.

Dont know anything about the Maxx but i hear good things about it...So between the two, i have to go for the Savage cuz it is indeed a durable truck and thats the only rig that i know pretty much inside n out.:D

The T-Maxx was my very first r/c since I was 4 feet tall. I love it. What I have now isn't even remotely the same truck I originally had or even the one I had 1 year ago but I just like the platform in general. Although the Savage is a great platform and I certainly cannot argue it's durability I simply don't care for the layout. I have, however, always like the LST. If I didn't have a monster truck of any kind I would probably buy an LST of some sort.

SavageXL... iv had them all and this rocks everything
and who ever said warhead, ignore that. its not sold anymore for a reason.. savagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavagesavage
