I do like you assessment of the T-Maxx (a very fast piece of plastic). Perhaps you should stick with evaluating what you own vice chucking daggers at RCs you don't.

anyway, of the 2, i would say to get the savage because of the big block power. and the t-maxx is getting pretty out-dated.

Yeah the Revo is coming out in January, but I don't think of it as being that great.I called my LHS today and I asked the manager if she carried many parts for an Hpi Savage 25 and she said she carried some of the main parts that seem to break on the locals Savages, but she also said that she could order any part I needed for it without shipping costs.So I think I am going to go with that Savage.

Not at all. I just tend to disagree with people who generate opinions without actually owning the thing they are giving an opinion on. It is one thing to say, "I have heard that the Savage is a sloth on wheels." AND an entirely different thing to make it a statement without any experience to back it. That was the only point I was trying to make.

For the record, I have owned both the T-Maxx and the Savage. I spent quite a bit on my T-Maxx and enjoyed it until I got my Savage. At that point, I out grew the T-Maxx, and it didn't see as much play time.

SO, Vince, voice your opinions as you desire. Just be prepared for others (like myself) to call you on them.

I vote savage,even though I do own 2 t maxxs.The savage is just so damn dependable,you have to pretty much abuse the thing to break it,while driving the maxxs I find myself saying no to obsticles because I dont want to have to fix them afterwards.The savage I would hit it without a second thaught.There is nothing wrong with a maxx,I enjoy them very much theres just alot more money tied up in them.
