T-maxx help please

I have a t-maxx 3.3 (4907) I've had for 3 weeks to day it started taking off when I start it and stalling when I push the brake I've tried tuning it but didn't help what could it be and how do I fix it thank you

Have you checked the clutch? Sounds like the spring may have broken.

Yeah just did and its fine

have you checked your linkages and carborator throat to see if it is open past idle position,should be about a 1mm gap in there

You need to adjust it to the proper idle while holding the trigger in full brake position.

+1 on what rolex said. Turn on electronics and hold brake while adjusting the idle set screw till you see a 1mm gap. If your stalling when you brake and your clutch spring is fine then its because your carb slide is closing completely when you brake causing the engine to stall.

You may want to make sure your clutch bell bearings are not frozen, if they are it would stall the eng when you apply the brakes.

Your Idle is set too high and can be Adjusted using your throttle trim on your transmitter.

Since your throttle is set too high on the throttle trim on your transmitter the clutch is probably staying engaged when you hit the brakes and causing it to stall when you hit the brakes.

If it is taking off when you start it then dying when you hit the brakes, it most likely has multiple issues, linkage and idle setting. First, do as Rolex mentioned, set the idle gap with the brakes applied, that way you wont completely close off the carb when you brake. Next, release the brake, make sure the carbs idle gap doesn't open up without you pulling the trigger. If it does check your linkage and/or the throttle trim on your radio.
