I was looking into getting steel drive shafts for my t maxx didn't know what was was the best to go with? I was thinking mip but they seem heavy?

Well all cvd are heavy comparibly givin that they're steel, the mip are a good set

RC best make a set for the #4907 maxx. I have had great luck with there drive shafts in the past, there a little cheaper than the MIP ones to.

Never had any trouble with my MIP shafts just a little grease in the cups helps a long ways.

If your running the stock engine, then stock shafts work fine. The 3.3 sliders are similar to the sliders on the revo and I run a big block in one of my revos with stock axles without much issue. I just keep an eye on the yokes and as they wear out, I get a new set on order from ebay.
