supermaxx, 4wd or 2wd ?????????

is it better having 4wd or 2wd on supermaxx???????????
I took my front train off and it really moves now,but braking is a bit of an issue Ohh! the xtm.247 is doing all the moving, just in case. :microwave

I guess it depends on what you are doing with it? If your just bashing I don't think it really matters at all as long as you are having fun right? For racing and over all better handling I would think it's better to have the front wheels pulling you through the corners.

I prefer 4wd no matter what RC. I think MT's need it more for jumping, you will be able to control it more in air and save money from crashes. Thats just my

i found with my supermaxx wiht the xtm 24.7 that i like 4 weels spinnin rather than 2. mine barely goes anywhere with rear wheel drive, it just sits and spins and is no fun. so i have to have all of them movin.

I drove my Maxx last night in 2wd form, it wasn't fun at all, after a few hard cartwheels and not being able to stop it with only 2 wheels braking, I am pretty well set on the fact that a 2wd Maxx isnt very fun.

I have a sportmaxx that I made (sort of) out of spare parts. I put an orion wasp 18 in it and I have a blast. It ramps pretty good, but like someone said, you loose a lot of your in air control. But it does get up to speed faster with 2wd. Once you get the hang of driving a loose diff'd 2wd, it's a ton of fun. I wouldn't recomend doing it with a 21 maxx just due to the fact that there will be so much power on one axle. You would be a lot more prone to tearing up your hole rear drivetrain.

I also have a 21 maxx that I recently tore apart. To much of a money pit.
