My buddy just ordered one of these. He was wondering what you guys think of them. I've heard good things, but read one review where a guy had nothing but trouble with it. That review was from '05. Thanks as always. He will only be using it to charge nimh's. No lipo's.

I have one, and no complaints. I wouldn't use it for LiPos, but for Nicads and NiMH batts, it's just great. Hook 'em up and ignore, if you want. You can set it for a specific charge or let it pick its own.

I have a superbrain 989 and it does pretty good as a back-up to my ICE. My only complaint with it is for the life of me I can't get it to charge a single cell glow igniter without false peaking half way through......no matter how I set it....and I have tried it all.
