Okay, I may be getting something from HPI. Been looking on Tower Hobbies and they have that rebate thing going on. The only problem I have right now is what I see in the manuals when I download them. I understand it wouldn't be a good idea to run thier electrics in water but dang it says don't run in sand too. WTF ya'll? I see video's on youtube of peeps running in sand all the time. Is this a "no liability on thier behalf" thing or is sand really a burden on HPI equipment or any RC Electric off road kits?

Sands a burden on any equipment. Especially fine sand. Pretty much means more maintenance is in order. Keeping bearings clean and making sure the tranny stays dirt free. Also keeping the motor clean. Traxxas makes waterproof electronics. You might want to check them out while ur looking around.

Thanks :D Got a Slash already and probably will stick with any other Traxxas stuff it looks like.
