My LHS sells Blue Thunder nitro. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to mix the oil myself. All the bottle says is 20%. There is no oil content labled.

On a side note, my LHS is a craft and hobby shop, and the little old ladies that run the store don't know anything about the RC stuff. There is a guy there every once in a while that knows what he is talking about.

My buggy will be here today, and I need to get some fuel!

Go with the blue thunder 20%, it will be fine for you! its pre-blended you dont need to add oil to it!

Thanks! I thought so, but didn't want to melt my new mill! :flamer: :ahh:

If it's similar to the Trinity Monster fuel, it should be 99.9% pure nitro methanol, 99.95% pure methanol, and 12% castor synthetic oil......there should be a label somewhere stating the %'s of content, I can't believe that they would put out a product that didn't tell you what's inside.

If your new to nitro, which is what i think, use the blue thunder 20% sport. not race. it has more oil than the race formula and will let your new engine run cooler. also run it rich until you get the hang of tuning. you don't want to run to lean. you will burn your motor up.

99% Nitro
99.95% Methanol
12% Oil

that 210.95% how do they get all that in just one bottle?
:stick:

the secret is in the cap. the cap holds the other 110.95%:stupid:

 everyone is a critic...............just stateing what is printed on the side of the bottle, ever looked at it??

Here's a stupid quesstion?? maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know
Why do you call the engine a Mill? WTH does that mean?

They call it a mill because the crank will turn a million times before the motor breaks.

not really a lot of run time for a motor that turn anywhere from 30,000 to 40,000 rpm

I think it's from the old days when a water wheel was used on a small stream of water (or large) for ginding oats and wheat for bread. I believe it was a grinding mill that was used for food. Food to sustain life.

In this instance, the mill on an rc grinds up rc parts which in turn makes us pay money to the rc distributors wich fills their pockets with money and then they can buy food.

rambling kix azz
