At age 21 I used to own a 1/2 share Pitts Special with a 260hp Engine in it, regular red with blue and nice white stars and a Hartzell 3 Blade. I had recently gotten my german aerobatics permission and was on my way home, feeling way too confident. On the Autobahn (no speed limit) below, I noticed a very fast back car in the left lane almost alone, but passing everyone there was, going at least 150-160 MpH.
He or she... don't know, was passed big time & smoked @ about 3-4 feet high by a little red airplane with smoke on, and to this day I bet that this was quite an experience for both of us... I had never before flown this low, and went by him/ her like he/she was parked. A 45 degree climb, rolling brought us back to altitude, where the callsign was no longer visible. I realized how stupid that was when I drove across the same highway stretch again later, noticing powerlines which I unknowingly must have underflown then.
The Airplane ended years later after stalling and crashing about 500 feet short of an airfield, with a 1500 hour pilot in it, who, after a vistit to the hospital walked away.
On the road for some reason I tend to stay away from stuff like this...:yes:

people around 20 do the most crazy stuff. I knew a couple guys in college who would eat beer glasses in the bar. I knew another guy who would sniff a spagetti noodle up his nose and floss his sinuses with it. Another one liked to go to strangers' parties and take a dump in the water tank of their toilets - he called it a 'top-tank steamer'. I wont mention the stupid stuff I did...

Yes, I did hood surf on the highway doing 60+ mph. It's a wonder that I lived to be old and wise. Well, maybe just old....
