i just got me 3 speed in and went to the new track. well my rrp hd clutch bell had the teeth stripped off of it. i looked to see why and one of the threads for the engine mount is stripped.

so I'm back down again. I'm gonna try a 18t vented clutch bell, and trying to get my hands on a nova engine mount.

anyone have good thought or any thoughts on nova engine mount? i have the cooling head and dig it alot.i had to tune to 2 3/4 turns out on the hsn just to get 208 degree temps.

IMO the Nova mount is a pain to get your mesh in properly. The best thing when you get a Nova mount is to hit some points of your TVP's to make a little room for them to adjust better. That is my only flame about them. Just on the one side you need to open the TVP a little...

I link the nova! Although getting those nuts,to stay still is a pain. Hit some points?

I remove the engine from the mount myself and leave the mount on loosely. Best way for me so far.

"hit some points of your TVP's to make a little room for them to adjust better." don't understand what you mean by this.

i was planning on getting it meshed, and when i need to remove the motor i was just gonna remove it from the engine mount. seems like the easiest way.

I've just been running the stock one for 7 gallons. I cracked one once and the plate it was bolted to due to a 15 foot drop on it's nose... that was a rough day! I bought a couple stock mounts off ebay and forums for $5 a piece.

The Nova one might help keep the enginen cool though.

On the TVP it sits near the Nova mounts is hindered due to the TVP rubbing on the mount or vice versa. Grind a little... Better yet let me take a pic.... I will post it up tomorrow. I am at work.

I'm using the hotbodies adjustable mount and it has held up fine, but it is due more to my RCS cage protecting it.

You need a stock one? I have a spare lying somewhere. PM your address if you want it.
