Well i was wondering what you guys think are the best tires for any of the storms I'm ordering some Pro-Line Knuckles i found some that are premounted on tower and I'm gonna get them shipped over here to good old england just a thought what you guys think are the best?

Why? because i have to. With that site you said i still have to ship them here and i think Tower is more reliable i can't trust that place.

Check out TOPOPTIONS for the best price in the country for tyres and buggy spares

Nice site! It is hard for us US guys to order from across the pond as you money is worth more!!! hahaha

There is nothing wrong with Top Options !!!

I have used him loads of times and will continue to do so.

I can't see the point of importing tyres, when there are so many LHS over here that stock them.

How long is it gunna take for them to arrive ??
How much is the shipping gunna cost ??

It will be cheaper in the long run to get them in the UK.

Open the back page of any RC magazine and find a LHS near you.

I've just seen your car in your gallery and was wondering was tyres you are running, are they any good? and how long do they last?

And has anyone used the Medial Pro dirty rat and ar they any good?

The tyres in that picture are Rats (pink compound)

They work very well on grass and mud, but will not last 5 mins on any other surface, since they are very soft.

What surface is the track or bashing area you plan to run on ??
There are so many types of rubber to choose from, each one havin its own specific use's as to what surface to be used on

i'm playing on using them for grass hard mud and rocky places and i would like some action on the road as well i was thinking of getting the Pro-line Pulsar i think they are. They look durable and good for all surfaces are help anyone?

I have had a set of pro-line crime fighters on my storm for about a month now, I have run on clay, sand, grass and concrete, they dont even show any wear at all yet so I think they are a good choice! although I will continue to try new treads I will most likely stay with pro-line or medial-pro, they seem to last well!

Rats are a very good all rounder, but, dont last very long

Granted they will work on the surfaces that you listed, but i would strongley advise not running them on tarmac, they will not last very long at all

Pulsars would be a good allrounder too, but again not suited to tarmac

If you want to run in carparks now and then, i would suggest that once you have a worn out set of tyres use them for on-road stuff.

i think i will go for the pulsar's and get some on road tyres some other time.
do you get all 4 tyres from top options? and do they come with the wheels shown on the pictures?

and are the wheels any good?

The prices is for a complete set, and some times they are pre-glued.
I know for a fact that Top Options does sell Crimefighters, drop him a email and i'm sure he will be able to sort you out
It looks as if he hasn't got round to adding them to his site.

What i would really like is some Knuckles but i spose ill just have to settle with pulsar's but i dont care there going CHEAP! so ill get em!

The only time I drive my buggy on concrete is when I am out in my driveway tuning it! I would never encourage any buggy owner to drive on tarmac, trust me, its just a bad idea! mail boxes and parked cars are bad enough! But when a buggy flips end over end at speed on concrete its a real mess! buggies are not designed for a solid surface such as concrete! but If your only option is concrete, go here and look at the road rage 1/8 tires

http://www.prolineracing.com/proline.html

I will always stick to this proven theory though!
Buggies on concrete!=very bad idea!

Your right about the mess....but sometimes thats all there is to drive on. I dont like the idea either. Its either drive...or no drive at all if i can't use concrete. Lemme check out those tires. I wont drive it on concrete that much, but when i do i would like some tires left over.
Thanks NitoM
