Have an HPI Savage XL 5.9. I have seen many videos of these trucks doing wheelies for long distances..... I have now ran about 2 4-litre jugs of fuel and did the proper break in. I have it tuned with the high speed needle and runs about 255 temp. It moves real quick through all the gears. How do I adjust the low speed needle to get the front wheelsa off the ground? I have it in the stock flush position. Should I give it more gas or less?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

The lsn probably just needs leaned a hair. Do the pinch test. Get the engine warmed up and take a couple high speed passes. Then pinch the fuel line as close to the carb as you can. The engine should rev a tad and die in 2-3 seconds. Anymore and you know the lsn is rich. Watch your temps close. You want the engine to drop a degree every 5 seconds or so while it's idling.

You'll need to lower the idle speed afterwards.

Ya just lean out the LSN 1/8 of a turn at a time until the pinch test is close, you will notice the thing with flip right over backwards.

Well, 255 sounds a tad high unless your really leaning on it. It's not out of bounds, but I usually try to stay between 220-250 for all day bashing. Each engine is different and out of all the ones I've owned, I've only had one that ran well in the 240-260 range, it wasn't a HPI engine.

With that in mind, you may be a bit lean on top and rich on the bottom to compensate without knowing it. Or, your slipper may be slipping causing the engine to over-rev which would also cause a lack of wheelies.
