what kind of stering servo and saver is everyone running I'm lloking for something stronger then the stock 2055 thanbks Ryan

I run a Futaba S9451 in mine with a Kimbrough 'black' saver. Someday I'll upgrade that saver but that's a back burner part.

This assembly ($37): http://www.rcplanet.com/Proline_Performance_Steering_Kit_p/pro601900.htm

With a 645MG ($29):

Will get the job done really well. You will lose the white saver altogether as the proline kit has the saver built in to the linkage and is adjustable like a 1/8 scale buggy. It comes with bearings as well for really smooth operation.

I ran that setup for 2-3 years without a single issue.

Granted, if you can afford a better servo, then by all means, get one. The 645MG barely gets the job done. A 985MG would work really well.

Running the stock saver/linkage setup requires a much better servo/bolt on servo saver to really see a difference.

At the very least, I'd get the pro-line steering kit. Definitely worth the money.

Looking at the parts explosions for both the 2.5 and 3.3, the parts are identical for the steering assembly. So, it should work without issue.

Any of those servos should work fine with your radio

I ran Futaba, JR, Aitronics, hitec and traxxas servos (which I think are futaba) all on the stock receiver at one point in time or another.
