I'm having an issue with my new Nitro R/C turning left or right. It will turn slightly each way, but that's it. Looking for full turning range. Put new batteries in & got same results. Any ideas on how to fix it?

have you tried messing with the steering trim on the controller?

My T Maxx was the same way until I got a new steering servo. I can't say thats the exact issue but it fixed mine.

Read up on your manual for radio and see if it has end point adjustments separate from the trim adjustments. End point adjustments are the ones you need to make the turning radius better. Also may as well get you a good set of servos to replace the stock ones. Rtr servos are junk. Get a pair of Savox sc0251mg or sc1256tg. Depending on how much you care to spend the sc0251mg will be plenty strong and fast enough.
