my 3.3 traxxas jato runs till you let off starter and dies like glow plug is only thing keeping it going need help thanks

Have you tried a differant glow plug sounds like its not retaining heat well enough

Need more info. How long have you had it, when did you run it last and what's the outside temp?

brand new motor broke it in like traxxas dvd ran one more tank thru it and filled back up and only way it will run if u hold ignitor on it not very rich little blue smoke when u gun it and 70 degrees outside motor was running about 182

If it will run with the ignitor hooked to the engine and then dies when it is removed that means that your low speed mixture is too RICH. Lean the low speed needle and you should be OK.
