the idle true name barrel stop screw sshould be on the closing side of your carb. you have a slide carb or rotary? either way. the top screw is your
main fuel mix screw very care fully turn it all the way in easy you will damage your needle seat just till it stops(turn right,in,clockwise etc.) then back out
2 1/2 to 3 turns rich setting for break in....did you mess with any other screws? for the idle look into the carb see how big of an opening is there
you need to open your throttle before adjusting this screw...turning it in will leave bigger opening faster idle turning out left will let barrel close more lower idle and stall out..........hope this helps if not holler at me.....
