I got the NTC3 RTR, and now I want more, I was looking at upgrading it to the 2 speed. Any draw backs?

I also just bought the Starter box for it from Team Assoc. I have not been able to try it out because I stripped the head of the engine. I ran it one day, and I got called into work  on an emergency, and I was unable to take out the glow plug, and it got really cold in my house that night. When I got the glow plug out it took out all the threads :dumb: , and I am now SOL until I find another one, and I dont want to go with a factory one. What can I get? It is a pull start, how would I go about getting to start on the starter box, what do I have to do. Any mods at all?

just take the pull cord out and put the case back on thats all you have to do. i found that out today. going to do that to my car too how much did you spend on the starter box?

I bought the one from Team Associated, the one setup for the NTC3 or GT10, I bought it from www.towerhobbies.com during x-mas, it was like $110... that includes 3 battery packs, and a quick charger for the batteries, the box it self, on sale for $60 or so...
Thanx for the info....

actully theres more after you take the pullstart off you need to pull the one-way bearing off then you take the backplate off THEN you can put on a case back
