Lately I noticed that my savage has had some issues starting. I have the roto start (In my stock 25 mill) and it didnt seem to want to turn over. So I figured it was at the top of its compression part, so I spun the flywheel over with my finger to get the piston down in the cylinder. It still seemed like it was slipping a bit, but it started. Then today when I went to take it out, I couldnt get it to spin the mill at all. So I brought it in to check the one way bearing, and it seemed fine, so I just cleaned it (Tested it again..everythings fine) and put it back in. Once I got everything back together I tried again, and got the same problem. The mill still seems vapor locked. Seems like the roto start is spinning and trying to turn it over, but it isnt turning the mill over at all. Anyone have any ideas? Next I was gonna tear open the backplate and see if theres a sheared gear or something, but figured Id ask before I ripped it open again. It doesn't seem to be making a crunching sound or anything, everything sounds completely normal. Any suggestions? (Besides get a pullsart? I'm not a pullstart guy, so thats pretty much out of the question) Thanks in advance.
