Start of the 1/5 Mega Ram conversion to electric..

The Ram is dieing for a electric conversion. Get way more power and instant tourqe to the wheels. Should be way better then this 49cc Reed engine..

Lol RC Sparks is on a whole different level. He's got a $1000 esc in his speed Ram. And almost a $1000 motor. Then in his crawler Ram has the Castle XLX2 800kv motor. But his speed Ram is ridiculous. So that would be a NO sorry. Got the conversion from Primal rc. For now going to order the hobby wing max4 esc. In the coming weeks. To bring it up to 12s.

Well considering that the esc that the conversion comes with. Is only a 160a water cooled boat esc. That only takes 8s.

And the max4 is a 300a 12s esc. Yeah I would say it's plenty
Got the engine out. Got to clean up up some of these wires. That aren't needed anymore. And throw in the monster 500kv water cooled motor. Amd then she should rip. A hell of alot better . Looks funny empty like that.

Motors bigger them my coffee cup. And comes with a clutch on it. Witch is a first I've ever seen.

Kevin is another one on a whole other level. I believe hebhas them in his road speedster also.

He's one that truly bashes everything to the Max. And has his own 1.1 scale monster truck. Hell yeah it's definitely is a strong esc.

Sorry man his red speed car just hit 123mph two weeks ago. So I would say yeah he hit 100mph. He's going for over 200mph. Trying I believe. Some are really close to hitting 200mph. Witch to me is fu*king crazy. For a RC car....

I think we are talking about different cars. The video is his on-road speed car. The record is 203 or 204mph right now, I'd have to look it up. His friend Raz is up there. He has had a car for awhile the "project 100mph off road" which is what I was referring to. It's gotten nowhere close. I want to say 73 or 74 is the fastest he has it on video. He also has the super long wheelbase prototype "sausage" that's basically two arrma 8s on max4s, that one went 97 off road and is the one that smoked a max4. I mentioned those two because you said off road. it's an entirely different ballgame than tarmac. the world record for any off road rc right now is 103 (TLR 5ive-b, dirt, 12S). it is the only known GPS 100mph off road RC pass. all of these things people are doing is simply nuts. a 1/10 recently went 78mph off road. a guy went 75mph on grass. That's insane. Going fast on grass is like dragging an anchor.

Yeah, I think it was 97 mph that he hit, which is very impressive considering all the problems he had with the tires blowing off of it, and it being on grass! I was really impressed! He's going to clear his 100 mph target and then some with better tires.

He wasn't referring to Kev's top speed car. He was referring to Sausage. The Kraton build he did using two Kratons that he took a sawzall to and built one long ass RC truck, to try and go 100mph on grass.

Update: got the electric conversion done. Pulled off the springs on the clutch. So its instant grab to the bell. Or would need to wine up. Till it's got thrown out to the bell. Also changed the water lines. To a better color. haha such a slice set up for sure.. and of course it's raining out right now. We needed it to.
