HAHAHA

Nice call on gettng the KHZ knuckles. My friend decided the same thing. But MAKE SURE you threadlock the screws that go into them. He DNF'ed 2 races because of screws coming loose and falling out. Nice progress so far!

Jon, With the price of the RDlogics stand at $140.00 I can imagine that the hudy will be a pretty pimpy price! Looks nice thou.

$140 for the RD Logics is a bit much. I believe I got mine off fleabay for around $85 shipped about 6 months ago.

Yes, it is complete.

Ninja is broken-in and mounted. Just need to run a few tuning tanks and it will be ready for the west coast gathering.

how did you keep the brakes from interfering with the fuel filter? Arent they VERY close?

Make sure the filter holder is rotated towards the front of the truck and there will be no interference with the linkage.

Rob I got the RD stand...Question..You broke in the ninga on your stand? How did you do it?The ninga is a non pull start mill right?

Nice looking whip you have there.

You need to use a cone starter. Here are links to what I used.

Here are some tips I sent to Ed regarding my experience with the stand that may be helpful to you.

Couple of things...
1. Wrap the cooling head in aluminum tape or foil so get the temps up to snuff. The moving air from the prop keeps it too cool.
2. Check the clamps often. The vibration from the mill can loosen them.
3. Use a rag to put under the stinger to catch all the oil coming out. Makes clean-up much easier.
4. You are going to need the air filter base in the upper right of this pic. Otherwise you will not be able to run an air filter. I as able to pull it on an off while the mill was running to make sure I was at half throttle.

omg I THINK I'm IN LOVE!
Truggy look great.
Fill us in on any runs you have.
This is 1 out of 5 truggies I'm looking into buying.

Again flawless build and great paintjob!

Ran the Ninja in the truck for the first time today. Heating the block with a hairdryer to around 140 degrees is a must. I kept locking the piston until I got it heated. Luckily it only takes minutes to remove the mill and unlock the piston and reinstall.

Once I got that figured out. It would start right up once it got warmed-up. I was able to run 3 tanks in front of my house and had to lean the HSN a full 1-1/2 turns before it started to wake up. I still have tuning to do, but I can already tell this mill rips.

I think it's ready enough for the Reno bash. I just need to figure out how to get the mill heated up if we don't have power at the track.

Why do you have to take the mill out of the chassis to unlock the piston?
