I'm joining the Truggy crowd with a Kyosho ST-R. This will be my first experience with building a modern K factory ride.

I was going to put my OS .30 in it, but decided to put in a Mr. Ninja .21.

I just ordered the hexcrews conversion kit. Once it arrives, I will begin the build. I can't wait to get started.

OMFG you got the Ninja!

Congrats on the new ride bro. What servos are you planning to use?

I love my ST-R and I'm sure you will too.
Great ride. Enjoy.

Airtronics 94358Z for steering and the 94357Z for the throttle.

I can't wait to get it built and head over to Antioch and check out their track. Too bad I leave on a trip this Friday for a week and won't be able to work on it.

You Bastage. The K truggy and MR Ninja!!!! Lucky. It should be a crime that you are leaving without touching that thing at all.!

Send it over to me and it'll be built by the time you get back. lol

Shoot me a PM when you head to Antioch, I'd love to see Mr. Ninja in action. Practice on Sundays is a pretty good time to get her broken in.

That is a sweet package bro... I'm having some kit building withdrawals myself..
Let us know how the Ninja performs...

WOW Rob...Over the top with this build...Great pickens you got there.Let us know about the ninja..I have been eye balling it my self.

Any updates on the build Rob? I am anxious to hear how MR. Ninja runs.

Wow, that is probably THE best set up you can possibly buy. ST-R, MR. Ninja, 357 + 358, Crimefighters on RE foams.... WOW you are going to LOVE that ride. Congradulations! lol I'm officially jealous :D

Rob, SD and I were talking about that very engine this morning. Defenitly keep us posted on how it performs. I'm gonna need a new mill in the near future and that one has caught my eye. Nice buy!

Build has been slow going due to commitments having to do with my sister-in-laws wedding next weekend. You would think I would not be affected but the wife is the matron of honor, my daughter is the flower girl and my son is the ring bearer.

Flippin wedding is costing me 1K and we haven't even bought a gift yet. Oh, it's her second go around at the altar as well which just gnaws at my chode. At least this guy isn's an ahole like the last one.

This weekend I am off on a house boat for a weekend long bachelor party. I am sensing liver, sun damage and sleep deprivation. I am just hoping not to get jacked-up by the tube of pain.

Crap, I have derailed my own thread.

Back to the build....front and rear ends are in as well as the center diff. I am waiting on some King Headz billet aluminum steering knuckles. I can't bring myself to put the stock cast aluminum ones on.

I am still shocked that Kyosho puts phillip head screws in their kits. At this price they should spring for some hex heads for craps sake.

The Ninja will be broken-in on a break-in stand when I can free-up a few hours to do so. This way once the truck is completed, I will only have to take a couple of passes to make sure the drive-train is good and I will be off.

Brown santa dropped off my new starter box today.
