RC Driving Style
When i was driving my savage today i noticed a squeek. I don't know where it is coming from! I took all of the drive shafts out except the center ones and w d 40'd them all. I don't know what could be causing it. I was just hoping for some ideas to what it is caused by?

check the bearings.....grass wound around the inside of a wheel can cause it.....also check for anything loose

i took off the wheels and checked everything, there wssnt any grass so i cleaned them off. Plus i have rubber sealed bearings. So i really dont think it would be that.

I only have the fiber brakes.

Is your clutchbell rubbing against anything? What about your rims?

I looked at them i and they look like new. I dont do hard bashing, right now.LOL. One day i just took it out and it started squeekin!

The noise seems to be going at the wheels rpm's, not the drive shafts. Thats whats really puzzling me!

I've heard a small squeak on mine too once in awhile. Everything looks fine so I'm not going to worry about it. Give it a good one over and if everything looks good don't worry but keep a watchful eye out. If it's something really bad you'll know it soon enough. :\

i know if i roll my savage backwards with the engine off the clutch bell squeels.:)

So does mine. But thats cuz its not suppose to go that way.
I looked for the squeek again this morning and couldnt find it.

I'm getting sick of trying to find it.

Well Mine does not nor do any other of my rides. You have something rubbing

i dont think i have something rubbing. It does it even after a took the motor out and put it back in. Its done it since i got it. like i said, the squeek is at the wheels rpm not the motors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok but there is no need to get upset with people who want to try and help you. Have you looked at each individual axle or dogbone? Possible something needs to be replaced like a bearing.

I have looked at the rear dog bones, those were fine. I think it might be the front do bones that are making the noise.

I would check the bearings for sure as well as the bones . if they are worn or defective, it can cause the dogbones to rotate unevenly.

What would they look like if they are worn or defective?

Also, what bearings do i need to check. Any type of diagram would be nice since i havent taken the truck completly apart yet.

could the squeek be your shocks?,Lube every frigging rotating piece on the truck, then it it's still squeeking then scream,if it stops, then ya found it.
