Spur/pinion gear ratios

Hello what do you guys think is the best spur and pinion gear ratio for a traxxas slash 2wd with a sidewinder sct motor and esc combo. I'm just using it to just bash around and stuff no racing

What do you think would work better the sidewinder 3 or the sidewinder sct with 3800 motor
