I remember when R/C enthusiasts used to work at the manufacturer....

I don't know why it bothers me to see such a silly mistake on a manufacturer's site, I thought it was funny until I realized these may be the same employees doing assembly for new rigs to be psuedo enjoyed by people wanting to get into this hobby until they get something that was half assed put together and drives like crap for some stupid mistake made during final assembly.....

Thats all I can spot.

Maybe its too filter the dirt into a line instead of a wide spin out lol.

no it was the tires....it does seem like a small issue but when you think of what that type of thing can cause.... it just astounds me that the person in charge of reviewing things before they become part of that companies public media didn't catch that simple of a mess up....what else did / could they miss

I was joking of course :p: but I see what you're saying. To be honest, I'm amazed that half this stuff is set up as well as it is from the factories, seeing as how 99% of it is built by Chinese 7 year olds at gun point. And don't kid yourselves, it is. I personally think the RTR and RTF acronyms should be switched to stand for Ready To Rebuild, and Ready To Fail. Just my .02 though

And this is why every RTR rc should be broke down and gone through...The bad thing is that the new rc hobbiest won't do it and will get discouraged by their brand new POS!

Perhaps they did it to cause the picture to go viral and have dozens of threads just like this pop up on every rc forum around. It gets everyone looking at the truck when otherwise it would have just been passed over. Can anyone confirm that they are selling the truck like this?

I've seen guys run their tires like that too...

Exactly, thus why I demand the acronyms be changed immediately. :D

Hmmm, good point FLM. I've seen guys run 'em like that too. Usually for snow, or mud trying to get a paddle tire effect on the cheap.

Those tires are backward in order to provide more 'lift' while sailing through the air at full RPM. :D

In that case, it really needs the $.29 flag. What's a plane without a rudder?:p:
