Looking awesome!

I need to get a set of the white springs for all the way around too! Good choices on everything!

Those tires are kickass. Are they a fairly hard rubber? They look like they are. I am looking for some tires that will last awhile, even if they aren't the absolute best traction off-road. I'm still a bad driver so it doesn't matter much anyways!

Where did you get he tires and rims? I know I can get the tires from proline directly but if I could get both the rims and tires at the same time I'd do that instead. My white rims just don't match my newly painted black body!

Since you can get proline tires directly  , these tires are called "knuckles". They come in both XTR and M2 compounds. The XTR compounds is a little harder than the M2 compound and will last longer. They also come pre-mounted with the proline dish wheels only. These tires will work best in loose terrain. Goodluck.

BTW, nice new buggy. Now go outside and get it dirty :)

If they only come premounted on the dish wheels, how did this guy get them mounted on these wheels?

Or are you saying that if I want them pre-mounted, I can only get the dishes?

Black dishes are cool though, but those spokes like mint.

They are kickass by the way.

Yup, you can buy them loose or pre-mounted on white dish rims. I got them from my LHS, R/C Car Kings. They do mail order too 952-895-9643. I beileve the tires were $17 for 2, and the rims were $16 for 4. Don't know if they offer the same pricing over the phone though.

They do seem hard enough, I thought they'd be a bit harder, but from what I hear, they'll last wuite a while. Much better traction on road then the stock x/=, with almost no loss in off road (grass and harpack) traction, I love 'em.

The steering and suspension mods seem to be almost perfect, a huge improvement over stock.

Blah, white dish rims. I need black ones!

Actually I like the spoke ones in the picture, so I might as well get them loose and get my own rims seperately. I just hope I do a better job gluing then I did with my current tires! Fortunately I've seen some good howto's, so it should be okay.

I think part of the reason those tires don't wear as fast as they would seem to is because they have a lot of rubber on the ground, very dense pattern. I like the look of them, I'm not too keen on the look of the spike-type tires.

But about the buggy, it looks nice too =)
