Spektrum Receiver voltage.

The instructions for my Losi 8 RTR recomends 6 volts for the receiver and servos. This limits to NiMh..

Is a 7.2 volt LIPO too much?

Spektrum rx.'s can handle up to 9 volts, but most servos can't handle that much. You need a regulator to run Lipo.

I've used Lipo in my 8-t but changed back to nihm packs. I had problems finding a reliable regulator, and with nihm packs at 1600mah, I can get almost 1 and a half hour of runtime.
