spektrum dx3s binded with mini revo

Hey guys I got my new spektrum yesterday and binded it with my revo and mini revo and was wondering if the regular 3 channel rx that came free will work in the mini revo. I noticed when I pulled the micro rx out of the mini that I had to dremel a little off of the rx box in order for it to fit. So even though I got it to fit will it still work even though its not a micro rx? Thanks guys!!!

are you talking about the SR300?

because if you are, i have that exact reciever in my mini revo and it works perfectly. All you have to do is modify the box top a little bit to get the antenna wire to the antenna hole and you'll be golden

Yea bri I already got it in there n had to dremel the box a bit. Thanks!! I just wanted to double check
