I just bought this radio and I'm having a couple issues with it. Right now it is running my T Maxx and it doesn't seem to get the turn ratio that the ol TQ3 had. Iv done some adjusting on it and its a little better, but for the most part it virtually has no right turn ability. I've checked my servo and it is set in the middle of the range with the tires facing forward. I even have it set at like 35% right and still tends to pull left. The other issue is that the telemetry set up that came with the S3000 reciever is really short. I also am going to have to dremel the bar for the RPM sensor in order to get it to fit on the HPI motor. The connections like about 2 inches from even being close to be able to plug them in. The temp and lap wired connections are the same. What can I do to resolve these problems. This is my first really good radio aNd I really like it so far. All input would be apprecitated:\

Firstly, Read the DX3s Manual for changing the steering set up on the radio.

Radio Checks to try:

Check the "travel adjustment" on the steering and channel.
check the sub trim on the radio and check if that is in need of setting.
Check the Dual Rate / steering rate adjustment.

If all that doesn't help, try checking the "Quick trim" button that allows on the fly adjustments (On top of the wheel housing) and see if it is still set neutrally (i.e. at "0")

Now to the telemetry wiring, if the connectors are the same as those for the servo's, you can get small extension leads from any good hobby shop, E.G where you got your truck or radio from.

Hoping this helps.

+1^ on adding the connectors. The LHS here has been mounting the rpm sensor on the bottom side of the truck to avoid having to mess with the motor mounts. I am not familiar with your exact truck so I am not sure if it would work for you but on the LST's it is easier to mount the sensor on the front drive coupler. Hope it helps a little

well what I did was take off the steering linkage, and I reset all the values back to 0. I reconnected the servo saver and now it works like a charm.

Glad you have it sorted, at least now you can get some wheel time.

Did any of the above help out any ? just curious.
