Sonoma County Mesure M on the ballot.

I can't believe the county is actually trying to ban the use of GE Crops. (Genetically Engineered) A measure like this would put Kansas and Nebraska out of business.

They want to put a 10 year ban on the growing of ALL GE crops in fear that it is contaminating the food chain and our environment. If the measure passes it will put 80% of out local farmers and ranchers out of business. They are using the ignorance of our Tree hugging population to get this through. They claim that the wind will blow and the Bees will pollinate the weeds to create "Super Weeds" that will be pesticide resistant.

The money for this measure and its backing is coming from land developers that have already made LowBall offers to the farmers for their land if the measure passes knowing full well it will put them out of business.

Side note 1
You have to understand that we had an emergency vote earlier this year to ban the use of a spcificaly engineered pestacided to control pepper weed. They ban it in favor of people hand picking the weed but only 4 people showed up to do the dirty work. They then used weed killer and its all gone now.

Side note 2
Earlier this year a developer had to stop building after the EI study was done and cleared for them to move forward. SOMEHOW! an endangered plant was found in the middle of the project. The fresh dirt mound it was planted in didn't seem to matter. The developer was stalled for 7 months loosing somewhere around 2 million dollars a month.

WTF?!?!?! Decide what you want. We can't have it both ways. At times like this I'm embarrassed to live among these people.

Yup, seems the Earth Liberation Front and the Friends of the Earth (terrorist?) groups are at it again! Oh, and a lot of these Tree Huggers are ingnorant, and dangerous!

Tree Huggers = Ass Clowns

A few years ago here in Napa they were going to put in a Longs Drugs in an empty lot that happened to have a 100+ year old oak tree in the middle of it. The plans were approved and they were set to break groung. The Tree Huggers got wind and started to protest the project. The candy ass city council put a hold on the project and asked Longs to redo their plans to incorporate the tree into the plans so it would not have to be removed. Now the tree was dead center in the lot so there was no way this was going to happen. Longs pretty must said FU and pulled the plug. The very next day the property owner hired a couple of guys and chopped the tree down. I still laugh my ass off just thinking about it.

The lot still stands empty with no tree.

One of those mambee pambee "tree huggers" probaby ended up with part of that oak tree in their living room as a coffee table. Ought to put them all in a tent camp somewhere!

The next county over from me always protest any kind of development. The same people wonder why their property taxes are so high.

Save the earth...shoot a tree hugger. Nothing, and I mean nothing pisses me off more than one of them. Damn almost every frickin thing now is GE. Just rediculous.

My sidenote, several years ago I was behind this assclown with all kinds of earth first stickers on his car. We were waiting for a train to go by and there was like no other traffic. Well as we sit the door comes open and the ass dumps a full ashtray out on the street. So I get out of my truck, walk up to the guy, say hey to get his attention, then I drilled him right in the nose. I then reached down and grabbed a handful of cigarette butts and threw them in his face. Walked back to my truck and drove off. Man that was fun.
