Not sure if you can see it, but it's under where it says "In backwards, deform, positive cap, cover". There's wierd white stuff under it. I'm not sure if its from the cells, since they have been shrink wrapped together in 3s, so there are two separate sticks of cells that are fixed together at the ends with battery bars. Anyways, I noticed this when I took off the shrink wrap of the whole pack since there was a bit of dirt under. Could this be just the white stuff that happens from CA glue, or damage from the cells? I'm able to scratch the white stuff off also, so maybe it's sand or something. Anybody know?

Thanks!
-Coby.

This is just a complete guess here but I am thinking it is talcum powder. Makes sliding the already tight shrink-wrap over the assembly a lot easier.

Maybe, but I don't think talcum powder will dry enough so that you have to scratch it off.

one of the cells could have vented.. are you having issues with the pack?

Yeah, I had a thread that was talking about how using this pack the ESC would glitch on me when getting down to no power, while using a different battery pack the ESC wouldn't glitch at all even when running it down to when it was fully out of power.

sounds like you may have vented a cell and that is acid. you can take it all apart and check each cell, and replace the bad one, or just trash it...

I think I'll do that, I really want them to be a side by side pack also, so I'll do that :D. Thanks!

Maybe. I was just charging it at 1A with 3Delta Peak, and it still got hot. I'm thinking I should send it back to Orion and see what they should do with it. Hopefully they don't mind me soldering on a Deans plug and renewing the shrink wrap.
